Whoo where do I start?? Im a young woman but God is my Refugee. He has brought me from places that I thought I would never be able to get out of. I am so ready to Minister in Dance this summer. Im so ready because not only have I prayed but Ive cried and longed for this and finally God has answered my prayers. Hopefully, if God says the same I will be attending the academy as well. My heart is heavy because Ive lost my step mother over this past summer and I miss and love her dearly and I remember the last thing we talked about was how much fun I was going to have last year at the Conference and I did. So now Im going to be apart of it and love it and also enjoy it. I cant wait and I would like to say that I love Minister Lavelle and also my Sister in Christ Moiia. I love you all dearly and cant wait to see you all this summer at the Conference.

Thank you for building my daughter Prisca up in worshipping God through dance. When I watched the videos and the pictures it was so amazing to see how one can worship God through dance with different moves and expressions. lying down with your face on the floor to worship God was something new to me I felt the total humility in there, - Prisca told me it is called "Proskuneo" - I was touched and I have learnt something. The colourful attire and the styles were very beautiful. It is a blessing for my family seeing my daughter as one of you. You are doing great work in the ministry keep it up.
I thank sis Terese Futch known as Moiia, Minister Lavelle Clark and all KARAR Worshippers for your surpport. May God reward you.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!
God is Awesome! God showed up and showed out at the 2nd Annual Conference/Graduation which was hosted by KARAR! We were vessels in position for Him to use as He so desired to do. People were healed, delivered, saved and set free. This was a worship experience that was like never before! OMG! The processional on the last night was a celebration of the KING with all the various worshippers unified to bring glory to His name and ending the processional with a spontaneous dance from our model, mentor and motivator, Min. LaVelle! Awesome!

Karar let us continue to follow the vision that He has placed in the house regardless of the obstacle or distraction that will come our way. We are vessels made in the hand of God!

It's simply amazing of how often we look over so many of the shorter books of the bible, such as Esther. I was one of those people that never really gave much thought to the book of Esther but after our intense studies in and out of class, I now have another favorite bible story to add to my list. The story of Esther has opened my eyes to so much more in my daily walk with Christ. It reminds me that regardless of what I may see, go through, or be challenged with; God will remain faithful to His word! It is so important that I remain in position so that I may receive what is in store just for me. This one short book gave me a sense of hope and encouragement in any situation. When looking at the long process that Esther had to go through in preparation for the king made me look at how I am presenting myself to our king, Jesus Christ! Am I giving my best? Do I take the time to properly prepare myself through prayer, fasting and studies? As Mordecai was Esther’s mentor, model, and motivator, he was quite essential in helping her to go from a being a peasant to being the Queen of the palace! Are we allowing the word of God to point us in the direction that He has planned for us or are we pursuing our own desires?

It is so amazing that we can always learn something new regarding the word of God no matter how much we think we know or long we have been on our Christian walk. Since I have been at Karar there is always new revelation or lessons learned about the Holy of Holies, the Ark of the Covenant, and of course the significance of the veil as they all should give us an appreciation for the ultimate sacrifice that was made for us. Everything should start with Him and end with Him! I can't begin to count the many times that I have listened to the song "Behind The Veil" but with the information that I have learned at Karar my eyes have really been opened to something that is more than just a beautiful worship song. I admonish all of the Karar students to really come with an expectancy of learning something more than technique and those things that are associated with the art of dance. With the knowledge that is presented in KIWA it makes it so much easier to minister to others even as we minister to ourselves.

This is truly just the beginning! God watches over His word to perform it and this was evident in our Inaugural Graduation and Conference. The Bible says the prayers of the righteous make things happen and God did exceedingly and abundantly above what we could ever ask or think. Let's keep pressing and praising into what God would have for us to receive as we approach another academy year!

WOW! I can't believe that the conference is over, but there is a lasting affect of what transpired during those days. God showed up and showed out! From the very beginning, His presence was all in the place as seen through the worship, the worship dances, and most definitely those powerpacked speakers! I am looking forward to the conference in 2010!

I understand that there are ten gates, but what exactly is the SHEEP GATE and how can we relate it to our studies in Worship/Dance?
(Posted on 2009-06-13 04:38:00 by MOIIA)
As you can see from the detail of the Priest garment and how they represent a (atoning power) purpose . We too, as worshipers should have the same purpose in our selection of garments for ministry to compliment the choreography and song. When one dances, all the pieces should come completely together. Most often, this is where the message is missed. Strong colors such as Black is primarily associated with the negative including death, disease, famine, and sorrow - all of which are the results of sin. Psalm 23 v4, Ephesians 5 v11. The use of this color selection during ministry must be carefully considered. You would not want to convey sin and death message at the time of high praise or either worship.
While on the other hand, RED - meaning blood and atonement , Leviticus 17 v11, Hebrews 9 v12-14. There is a diverse use of the color red throughout the Scriptures. Its primary associations are blood and war. Because of the reference here, it would indicate but not limited too, warfare dance.
Purple- Used in several features of the tabernacle (Exodus 26:1, 27:16) and the temple (II Chronicles 2:14); the color of royal robes (Judges 8:26); the garments of the wealthy (Proverbs 31:22; Luke 16:19); the vesture of a harlot (Revelation 17:4); and the robe placed on Jesus (Mark 15:17, 20). Dances associated with royalty could include this color to demonstrate his majesty/royalty. It is not all inclusive. This color symbolizes kingship and royalty. If this is the intention, this would certainly be a good color choice.
Green-Most often associated with the meaning of growth. God looks for healthy spiritual growth in His children. He has provided all that is needed to produce healthy spiritual growth and fruit. If your message is "prosperity" here again is another excellent choice. This can either be of high praise or worship setting.
Covenant - Red, Yellow, Blue, Orange, Green, Purple (all the colors of the rainbow) Genesis 9:16. When I see colors of this caliber, it makes me want to rejoice (celebrate) in the Lord. He has indeed kept HIS promise. This sort of selection (my opinion) would not be suitable for warfare.
Tabernacle -Gold, Bronze, Purple, White, Scarlet, Blue, Silver Exodus 25:1-8, 28:5-12. Do you get the picture, now. If everything God has given color for purpose and reason. We also, should carry the same purpose. Know what it is when we place it on our bodies. It should have purpose, send a clear meassage and all work together.
Warfare Black - Gold, Red (these are the colors that are usually exemplified in war) These are just a few examples, of how you can use colors to speak God's message and compliment the ministry song together. Let me know if this has helped. Minister LaVelle

Response:The Significance of the Priestly Garment and Color
I am glad you asked. There were (8), the number of "new beginnings".
The tunic, which covers most of the priest's body, atones for killing.
The pants atone for sexual transgressions.
The turban, worn on the head, atone for haughtiness.(otherwise Pride)
The belt, wound about the body and worn over the heart, atones for "sins of the heart" - improper thoughts. (I most often refer to as Matter's of the Heart)
The breastplate atones for errors in judgment.
The ephod atones for idolatry.
The robe atones for evil speech.
The High Priest's crown atones for arrogance.
The Ephod is the apron-like garment worn by the high priest. It was made in four colours: blue, purple, scarlet and the white of the fine linen. These are the same colours that can be seen at the Door to the Outer Court, the Door to the Sanctuary and in the Veil; they refer to Christ as He is revealed in the four gospels. There is an important additional feature of the Ephod, though: gold thread (cut from gold plate) was interwoven with the other colours (Exodus 39:3). Gold is not only precious, it implies 'of God, divine and heavenly'.In the four colours we see Jesus as He was in His earthly ministry. Jesus has lived as a man on earth, a working man, the carpenter of Nazareth (Mark 6:3); He also knows what is involved when having to rely on others to provide for His living (Luke 8:3). He knows what it means to be tired out (John 4:6), hungry (Matthew 4:2: Mark 6:31), thirsty (John 4:7), pressurised (Mark 1:32-34; 2:2; 5:22-24), tempted (Luke 4:2 Hebrews 2:18), bereaved (John 11:35), desperate in prayer (Luke 22:44 Hebrews 5:7), disappointed by friends in a time of need (Luke 22:45-46), in pain (Matthew 27:26), mocked and spat on (Matthew 27:29-31), He knows what it is to die (Luke 23:46). Because He has passed through all these experiences, and many others also, the four colours tell us He is able to sympathize with us (Hebrews 4:15). Also embroidered into the Ephod is the gold thread, a beautiful 'type' of Christ's heavenly ministry as great High Priest for His own. He is risen from the dead, He has ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God (I Corinthians 15:3-4; Hebrews 1:3). There, as a merciful and compassionate High Priest, Jesus always lives and prays for His own to help them in their difficulties (Hebrews 2:17). Furthermore, because He is risen from the dead and ascended to heaven, He is also ABLE to do something through His interceding for us (Hebrews 7:25): He aids us (Hebrews 2:16), showing us His mercy and ministering to us the supply of His grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16), especially when we face temptation (Hebrews 2:18).The Breastplate (Exodus 28:15-30) The breastplate was square in its proportions, and also embroidered with gold. Set into the Breastplate in gold were twelve precious stones, one for each of the twelve tribes of Israel. Each stone had the name of the respective tribe engraved upon it. This shows the Good Shepherd knows His sheep so well He calls them each by their own name (John 10:3). The high priest bears the names on the Breastplate "over His heart" when he goes before the Lord "as a memorial" (Exodus 28:29), foreshadowing the eternal love of the Lord Jesus for His sheep (John 13:1).The Robe (Exodus 28:31-35) The Robe was made entirely of blue. It had a hem, attached to which were pommegranate motifs (in blue, purple and scarlet), with golden bells alternating in between the pommegranates. The golden bells were an audible announcement of the high priest's service, a beautiful sound, backed up by beautiful fruits, the pommegranates. This same balance of words and deeds we find in the Lord Jesus (Luke 24:19).The Turban and the Crown (Exodus 28:36-39) The Turban was made of white fine linen. Generally, fine white linen signifies righteous deeds (Revelation 19:8). Here the emphasis is on our mind, the covering of our thought processes, "taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ" (II Corinthians 10:5) by taking "the helmet of salvation" (Ephesians 6:17). Our mind is the big problem. When Zechariah saw the vision of Joshua (Zechariah 3:1-5), the Lord began to address the problem of the filthy garments (v3) by putting a clean Turban on his head (v5). Since the Hebrew words for Joshua (Yoshuah) and salvation (yeshuah) are so close, we see here the picture of taking up the helmet of salvation, to deal with our filthy thoughts of unrighteousness. Attached to the Turban and upon the forehead of the high priest was the Crown, a gold plate on which "HOLY TO THE LORD" was engraved. This seal of God is legitimately there on the forehead of our Lord Jesus Christ, our great High Priest. But for us, whom He has also made priests (Revelation 1:5-6), there is a clear indication that we are not just to be outwardly dressed up in Christ; He must transform us, by the renewing of our mind that we may prove the will of God: our sanctification (Romans 12:2 & I Thessalonians 4:3). How we need to be renewed in the spirit of our mind, to put on the new man created in righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:23-24)! There is so much more to be said about this subject. If I may, please check out the book "These are the Garments" by CW Slemmings. It is worth the reading!

Min. LaVelle, can you please discuss the significance of the priestly garments? Many people have asked about colors and how they are an important part of the set/song being ministered. Thank you.

Words alone can not express what a honor it is to be apart of Karar International Worship Academy and to be under the leadership of a beautiful and awesome women of God. Minister Lavelle truly has a heart for God and and a heart for teaching Gods women/people. With out a doubt I have grown since attending the academy and I feel so blessed to be with such great women of God. Karar for me is a place where worries are left at the door and what happened yesterday, last week or even that day, doesn't matter. It's assuring to know that I have a place, my own "save haven" where I can before God and totally be free and can look to my other Karar sista for strengh, love, support, encouragement and realness. I encourage anyone visting this site and or inquiring about this academy to come by and check it or even attend. I eagerly wait for the many things God is about to do for Minister Lavelle and the academy. There's words on the wall when you enter... A PLACE FOR HIGHER LEARNING, and Karar is that!!!. zata

This may sound a little partial. and maybe corny. But, I feel this academy is truly blessed to have a such person that gives so much of their time, talent, gifts and treasure to see others develop. This is my sister. I know her heart. I grew up with her. I know this is real meaningful for her. When she gives, she really gives all of heart, mind, body and soul. I have seen what God has done in her and thru her. I do not fully understand, why she gives so much. But, I can say that I have seen the passion she has for what she does. People at this academy are really being taught. Where I currently reside, there is nothing of this caliber. If there were more people like her, this world would be a much better place. People at this academy called Karar, appreciate what you have and take good care not to lesson the gift. I could say a whole lot more. But, I dare not. My sister, you may be small in numbers--but you are very LARGE in OUR Hearts. Keep on doing what you do for the LORD! God is really got a winner in you.

Minister LaVelle not only teaches on the heart of a worshiper, but she ministers with the Father's heart in mind. She is compassionate and loving towards those who are under her training. It has been a blessing to be a part of Karar International Worship Academy under her leadership. I have learned many valuable tools and my heart and passion for dance has only increased. My prayer for this academy is that God would continue to use the visionary, Minister LaVelle to birth worship not only in Central Texas but to the nations. Indeed the best is yet to come and it is already manifesting. I'm so excited to be a part of the move!

I thank God for the passion and love that Minister LaVelle has for Our Heavenly Father. She is truly an ensample and an example of a true worshiper. She envokes the anointing and very essence of God through worship. I thank God for her willingness to teach us - to stretch us - to break us - to train us - to mold us - to shape us in the way of His worship..which is Spirit and truth. This is truly just the beginning, for it has been decreed and declared that the hour has come where the Father is seeking and searching for those who will worship Him in Spirit and Truth, and thus, people are coming from near and far to receive that in which He has given to her, to give to us so that we can be that people that pleases the Father in worship. To God be the glory - we will never be the same. Our homes, our communities, and our nation will never be the same. Thank you Karar International Worship Academy and Minister LaVelle. You work is not in vein.

This academy has been a blessing to me in the spiritual and the natural. Being under the teaching of Min. LaVelle has equipped me to spread the gospel through the creative arts as well as with the word of God. Everything that is being taught in this academy is being used as we minister together, alone in His presence or with our individual ministries . We are not just learning all that we can but we are taking everything that we have learned to become better worshippers and warriors for the kingdom.

WOW! I can't believe that the conference is over, but there is a lasting affect of what transpired during those days. God showed up and showed out! From the very beginning, His presence was all in the place as seen through the worship, the worship dances, and most definitely those powerpacked speakers! I am looking forward to the conference in 2010!
Response: If you take a close look at Nehemiah chapter 3, you will be certain to see the parallel of worship. Without giving the answer- Jesus is the key. Good luck!
I understand that there are ten gates, but what exactly is the SHEEP GATE and how can we relate it to our studies in Worship/Dance?
Minister LaVelle
